You may also have heard of it under the name of Playa de la Isleta. This beach has an extraordinary beauty, and the nature that surrounds it makes it unique, so it is said to be a beach for nature lovers and especially for geology lovers. We are not geologists, so we can't talk about this, but we can tell you that it is a great place!
This beach is about 240 metres long and 30 metres wide. It is made of greyish sand, so you can lay down your towel and rest comfortably listening to the waves. It doesn't usually have very big waves, so when you go there you'll probably find the waters are calm enough to enjoy a proper swim.
Where is the Playa del Peñón Blanco beach located?
The beach of Peñón Blanco is located in the town of Isleta del Moro, in the north, in fact, it is the beach is located next to its neighbourhood (La Isleta del Moro Arráez). What services are available at Playa del Peñón Blanco?
In the Peñon Blanco beach There are no services of any kind, no restaurant, no beach bar or toilets, but as it is actually located next to La Isleta, you will have all the services very close by. In fact, you can leave your towel and go and get a fresh bottle of water and come back without any problems.
The car park holds less than 50 cars, so come early just in case. Although, as we have said, it is a beach quite calm. And don't think that being close to the village you will be surrounded by urbanisation, not at all. In fact, it is somewhat isolated, so you will be surrounded by nature and tranquillity. But well, La Isleta del Moro is a small town with a lot of charm, so it wouldn't be a big deal to have it in sight.
