Blue summer beach and its routes around Nerja

There are many fans of the beach, and we know that travellers and adventurers they are too, who have decided to visit all this area of Nerja where they filmed the scenes of the blue summer beach and many other scenes in other specific places. A tour of this area will take you back to the 80's and to your childhood or pre-adolescence.

Once you get there and start walking around, you'll get some cool flashbacks, and we recommend that apart from the route, you do some of the activities that this group of friends did on the high seas (although nowadays there are more "modern" options, such as jet skis, jet skis, etc.). Kayak routes in Nerja. Here are some of them water activities in Nerja.

After more than 40 years the town hall of Nerja has created a tourist route with the most emblematic locations where the series was filmed, where you can get to know the places where they filmed and which are the beaches of Verano Azul. This route starts at the viewpoint in the centre of Nerja (meeting point of the Chanquete gang), where you will find a statue of Chanquete himself where you can pose and have your photo taken.

Did you know that in Nerja you will not only find the beaches of Verano Azul but also a replica of the Dorada, Chanquete's boat? This little boat was situated on a cliff above Burriana Beach. Do you want to know what activities you can do in this area?

La Caleta Beach, the Blue Summer Beach

Do you remember Cala Chica? Well, to the question "Which is the blue summer beach? Caleta de Maro Beach (Nerja). The Caleta Beach was where the "Cala Chica" was simulated, being the favourite beach of the gang, where they played and organised their adventures. Here we leave you more information about the Caleta de Maro, a beach located on the spectacular cliffs of Maro. In this area we also (incidentally) recommend a visit to the freshwater waterfalls which cascade directly into the sea and leave a postcard image from the water. You can enjoy this with one of our excursions or kayak rentals.

Do you remember Javi's rescue in the first episode? Well, this scene was filmed in the nearby cliffs of this area. Take a walk around Nerja and Maro and take a trip back in time.
