What not to miss in Torremolinos?

Torremolinos, a very touristic coastal town due to the blue and transparent waters that surround it, although this town on the Costa del Sol bathed by the Mediterranean Sea also has more activities and interesting places to visit.

It is true that Torremolinos attracts attention for the colour of its beaches, as the weather here is one of its strong points, and as strong as that it allows you to do a lot of outdoor activities or on beaches and terraces throughout the year. So here are some of the things you can't miss out on in this southern Spanish destination.

Jet Ski Excursion in Torremolinos

We start with a bit of adrenaline, to enjoy and get to know the coast of Malaga in the best way we propose you this excursion on jet skis. You will feel the sea breeze while you drive your speedy water transports.

You will also be accompanied and guided by a monitor who will make sure you enjoy this 100% experience along the coast of Malaga. If you know how to swim and you like the thrill of riding a jet ski through the amazing waters of Torremolinos, that's enough to sign up for this excursion.

Don't miss Torre de los Molinos

As you may have guessed, this 14th century building was the one that gave its name to (and also represents) this fishing village, although the original name is actually the Torre del Pimental but it is better known as the Torre de los Molinos. Its exterior is in fairly good condition, although the same cannot be said of the interior.

This 12-metre high defence tower is located up the Cuesta del Tajo (a street full of shops and bars). This property is nowadays considered of cultural interest and historical heritage of Spain.

Do you want to know what activities you can do in this area?

The centre of this Malaga town combines traditional and modern architecture, a clear example of which is the Plaza Costa del Sol, full of restaurants to try and shops to shop in, as well as the famous Arco de los Besos.

But really, in the centre you'll find beautiful streets and impressive squares, starting with Cuesta del Tajo, a pedestrian street that leads to Plaza de San Miguel, where you'll find a church of the same name. What's more, I'm probably not the only person who would recommend a stroll along this shopping street that stops at the Plaza de la Costa del Sol, as it is a very touristy street, not only for tourists but also for locals.

Don't miss the Paseo Marítimo

We cannot leave this part of Torremolino, without a doubt this is one of the perfect plans to get to know this coastal town as this is where we find the lively nightlife, and not so lively nightlife, with lots of activities and plans to do.

Close to the town centre you can enjoy the fascinating promenade of Torremolinos where there are lovely beaches and places to visit, so you can't miss it. The promenade is perfect for cycling or walking along the most beautiful areas of the promenade.

Boat trip in Benalmadena towards Torremolinos

If you go to Torremolinos, discovering the coastline of Malaga is a plan that you can't miss and even less if it happens to be from a boat trip. With this great plan in which you will discover the coast of Benalmádena and Torremolinos you will see some incredible landscapes that you will surely not get tired of seeing.

This adventure starts at the Puerto Marina, where you will head north to Torremolinos. But that's not all, you won't leave here without first taking a dip in the open sea. The truth is that it is a great plan to sail through the wonderful Mediterranean Sea and have a stop for a refreshing dip in this area located on the Costa del Sol.
