Playa del Bajondillo is a beach located in the heart of Torremolinos that we recommend you visit to enjoy a day at the beach like always. It is a beach of more than 1km long and about 40 metres wide. The best thing about it is its access and its location, as (depending on where you are) you don't need to take a car to go to the beach, as it is located in Torremolinos itself.
It must be taken into account that being such a large and well located beach, being an urban beach, Bajondillo beach is a very busy beach.

To enjoy swimming in Playa Bajondillo you won't need booties, as the access to the sea is comfortable and sandy. In fact, the colour of the sand is quite dark. The waves of the beach itself are not very high, it is quite moderate, and for the peace of mind of many it has a lifeguard service.
Where Bajondillo beach is located
Bajondillo Beach is located between Carihuela Beach and Playamar, and as we have said, being an urban beach, you can walk from the centre, along Calle San Miguel or any other street. You can access the beach either via the Camino de la Playa down some stairs, or via the Cuesta del Tajo, a famous steep slope with many craft and souvenir shops.
Bajondillo beach is accessible for people with disabilities or for cars, as there are two lifts to get to the beach itself. One is located in the Plaza del Panorama and the other from the Plaza de los Tajillos.
