If you are thinking of making a trip or a route through the province of Cadiz, from Marinalia we would like to recommend you to visit Conil de la Frontera, and once you get here, go immediately to the Cala del Áspero, of course.
La Cala del Áspero is a beautiful small cove, about 60 metres long, which is shaped like a horseshoe with fine golden sand and usually has clean, crystal-clear water. This cove usually has a gentle swell but on days with high tide, if there is a swell, the waves crash against the nearby rocks and create some stunning and at the same time breathtaking images. In fact, we recommend this beach when the tide is low, so you can enjoy it more and more peacefully.

The cove of El Áspero is part of the group of coves known as "Calas de Roche", so from here you can start a tour of the other beautiful coves in the area.
All that surrounds (to the eye) this cove are views of the natural landscape, so your walks along the beach can become a very zen moment of connection with nature and life (it sounded a bit pastel and herbal, but be careful, the walks are going to be very pleasant, for sure). El Áspero cove is characterised by some rock formations in the centre, which, placed on top of the fine sand, is something that stands out because of how curious it is.
The access to the Cala el Áspero cove
To access the cove itself you won't have any problems, as it is accessed by wooden stairs, so you won't need any special footwear to enter comfortably. It is also very easy to get to the cove of El Áspero from the other neighbouring coves. We highly recommend these walks, as once you are in the cove, with your towels, snacks, etc., you can go for a walk to the neighbouring coves to get to know a little more about the coves.
