Javea in August is one of the municipalities of the Costa Blanca which, thanks to its coves, beaches and activities in the sea, makes it the most visited coastal town in the Valencian Community.
Due to the extraordinary beauty of its streets and coves, Javea is considered one of the most beautiful villages in the province of Alicante.
It is a small fishing village located between Cabo de la Nao and Cabo Sant Antoni, two emblematic capes in the Valencian Community because they are very well preserved and because they are a unique spot.

Javea has 25km of coastline with small coves, open beaches and cliffs. 25 kilometres bathed by the Mediterranean Sea. Among all its coves, we highlight two of them:
First of all, we talked about the La Barraca or Portitxol cove. This is a cove that you can reach by car along the Cabo de la Nao road. We recommend that you go early so that you can park right at the bottom where there is a small car park just a few metres from the beach.
The Barraca Cove is booming and many celebrities and influencers visit this small cove for its crystal clear waters, for its privileged environment, as well as having a restaurant and a bar in the cove itself.
If you decide to visit this cove in Javea in August, the best way to get to know the surrounding area is through the Kayak excursion. On this excursion you can visit Cap Negre, the smugglers' cave and the island of Portitxol. We recommend that you bring goggles and snorkel, as there are lots of fish, and don't forget your booties, as the cove is made of rocks!

The second one we would like to highlight in Jávea is the Granadella Cove. You can reach it via a well marked and signposted road. You can reach the cove by car and park in the car park, although the town hall has provided visitors with a train to go down to the cove and avoid crowds and car overcrowding.
